Sofie Arens, clinical biologist:
"KLD, member of the Sonic Healthcare Benelux group, has got Lab Online in production use since the end of 2016. Currently, already 30% of our orders arrive via the electronic ordering module. Communication with the developers runs smoothly and with a professional listening ear during treatment of our questions (configuration, modifications and extensions). For us, Lab Online is a success story, with time gain for physicians (profiles, sample barcoding) and the laboratory (automatic synchronization with the LIS), as well as a significant reduction of the pre-analytical error load concerning entry of patient and physician data and tests, all of which benefits patient safety."

In this way we developed, together, a unique solution enabling physicians to save time, to be better informed and to secure the prescription as well as the transport to the laboratory. "The Algemeen Medisch Labo, member of the Sonic Healthcare Benelux group, has decide to take Moonchase's Lab Online system into production. The integration into the existing LIMS and the dynamics of the developers convinced us that this product faces a bright future. Both the existing modules and those still on the drawing board are conceived with full-blown communication and transparancy in mind. In the complicated context of provider, laboratory, user and order placer, the entire system represents a beautiful solution for living up to the sector's requirements."
We are delighted to announce that Cegeka Healthcare, having assessed that Lab Online can provide added value to users of its CorLabs system, is partnering up with Moonchase for the distribution and first line support of Lab Online to its customers in the Benelux.

Gabrielle Allemann, Fribourg Regional Service for Blood Transfusion:
"To improve our system for distributing results to our various partners (hospital and private), the proposed Moonchase Lab Online solution seemed ideal. The software fully meets our commitment to deliver our laboratory results with a "web" solution. We had the pleasure to work together with engineers from Inlog and Moonchase for installing the system to extract reliable and secure results, and so far we cannot but be satisfied about this new collaboration with such professional and competent partners."
Together with our partner Haemonetics, we are happy to announce that the Centre Chirurgical Marie Lannelongue, near Paris, has decided to take Lab Online into production!
Alain Mainar, Information System Director, CCML:
"The Centre Chirurgical Marie Lannelongue selected Moonchase Lab Online as the solution for transmission of laboratory prescriptions at the end of 2012. It was taken into production in April 2013. Multiple reasons contributed to this choice. First, the institution particularly valued the great professionalism and strong expertise of the spokesmen presenting the solution. From this first phase in the selection onward, the dialogue was rich, interactive and responsive. Moreover, the product, employing modern ("full web") technology, broadly meets the needs expressed by users, is flexible in its configuration, allows a tight integration with the rest of the information system and respects the logic for accessing the patient record and associated tools, from any workstation in the institution. Finally, the cost of the solution was lower than that of competitors."
"The implementation of the project allowed assessment of the qualities of the Moonchase team: professionalism, active listening and extreme reactivity in processing the requests of the institution (adaptations, evolution, integration in the information system, etc...) characterized the entire course of the implementation."
"The initial feedback on the use of the product confirmed the appropriateness of the choice: Lab Online is easily accessed from the computerized patient record, and its appropriation by the users is easily acquired, with accompaniment of few days on average."
The CERBA European Lab Group has chosen Moonchase Lab Online as a common solution for all affiliated labs in Belgium. Lab Online will be used for order entry as well as for results distribution. Physicians will also be capable of accessing its services from mobile devices.
Arlette Eeckelaert, Chief Medical Officer, CERBA Belgium:
"The Lab Online results server has been in use for years in three of our largest laboratories, much to the satisfaction of our customers and staff. Over time, the number of users has grown to several hundreds and is still increasing. At the occasion of the consolidation of all our labs to a common IT platform, we chose again for the Moonchase product als a general web-portal for physicians, now also including the remarkable integrated ordering module."

We are pleased to let you know that the "Algemeen Klinisch Labo" in Lier also decided to put Lab Online into use, both for prescription entry and for the new laboratory guide.
Pharmacist-Biologist Paul Robyns, Lab director:

Despite the saturation of this market, Moonchase deserves the attention of all laboratories looking for innovative solutions, and appreciating direct consultation with its designers."
We are delighted to announce the availability of Lab Online Instruments, a web-based product for viewing results in Data Innovations’ Instrument Manager™ or IMConnect™. Data Innovations is the world’s largest lab middleware company. Instrument Manager™ is their flagship product for controlling automated lab operations. Requiring only a web browser on any workstation, Moonchase’s Lab Online Instruments enables laboratory staff to review all or selected and filtered results collected by Instrument Manager™, to print them in various formats or to create new work orders for it.
Bob Rothstein, Managing Director of Data Innovations Europe, had the following comments about Lab Online Instruments:
"Moonchase has produced an “add-on” product for Instrument Manager™ and IMConnect™ that provides laboratory staff with a web overview of all laboratory results, including images such as hematology scattergrams, from their offices or elsewhere using data contained within IM’s database. Together with functionality for entering new, multiple-sample work orders, Lab Online Instruments provides most of the LIS functionality required in a number of the markets where we are active, allowing Instrument Manager™ or IMConnect™ to function as a “mini-LIS.”"
We are delighted to announce that Moonchase has entered into a License, Maintenance and Support agreement with Inlog S.A.S., a member of the Haemonetics group. Inlog is widely known for its broad range of LIS products, and has chosen Lab Online to complement its portfolio with web-based prescription entry and results distribution.
Inlog obtained exclusive distribution rights of Lab Online Orders and Lab Online Results to hospitals in France and its overseas territories. For Moonchase, this agreement marks a boost of our international reach as well as significant growth opportunities.
The MRL laboratory in Bruges also put Lab Online to use. The solution was deployed on a remote server outside the laboratory offices, from which it provides multiple web sites including the one of MRL.
Pharmacist-Biologist Jean-Pierre Tavernier, head biologist:
"Since recently, the MRL laboratory offers an alternative and fast method to obtain test results, through the internet. With Moonchase Lab Online, our physicians can access all their lab reports at any time, old ones as well as new ones, displayed individually or time-aggregated by patient as required. The product keeps automatic track of which users viewed which results, enabling immediate highlighting of new or modified content. Physicians can also download or print reports as crisp PDF documents with the original MRL layout. A very reliable and fine solution!"
Lab Online Orders is the latest addition to our Lab Online suite. It is again a server-based solution, accessible both by web browsers and through a classical rich-client user interface. Lab Online Orders bundles clinical test ordering for one or more laboratories, organizes any required sampling and takes care of communication with the respective laboratory information systems. The product can be used independently as well as in combination with Lab Online Results.
Lab Online was recently put to use by Laboratorium Medische Analyse - CRI in Ghent, Zwijnaarde. The product was connected to the MIPSYS® laboratory information system and offers physicians immediate access to all their results, including history of up to 10 years back. After a period of evaluation, participated in by laboratory experts as well as a small number of selected physician-users, Lab Online was unanimously welcomed with enthusiasm.
Guy De Groote, Ph.D., laboratory director:
"Obviously, the Moonchase people were no strangers to us. Consequently, we considered the risk of awarding the project to this young company as a moderate one. The right decision, as it turns out. With Lab Online, Moonchase convincingly demonstrated to be able to deliver a user-friendly result server in a short time, with remarkable functionality for internal as well as external users. The integration with a laboratory system of another supplier presented no problems whatsoever and delivers excellent performance. Our customers now have fast access to a very complete overview of all their new and historical results, with elegant support for group practices."
